Lawyer with a solid academic background, Fernanda Silva Telles graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and has a post-graduate degree in Business Law from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation/RJ.
She has also taught classes at the Cândido Mendes College, at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, and in the Penal module of the Postgraduate Course in Economics and Business Law at the Getúlio Vargas Foundation, in several states of the country.
She is currently a member of the Criminal Law Committee of the Institute of Brazilian Lawyers - IAB and of the Special Committee of Criminal Law Studies of the Federal Council of the Brazilian Bar Association.
She was a counselor of the OAB/RJ, an entity of which she was also a member of the panel on Criminal Law and a member of the Human Rights Commission of the Institute of Lawyers of Brazil - IAB.
